What “ready for AI” actually means

Being ready has less to do with technology than with how repeatable your work is. A task that follows the same steps every time, with information already in a digital tool, is a good candidate. A task that changes every time, or lives in someone’s head, needs a process before it needs AI.

A low score is useful too: it tells you that a simple tool or a checklist will save more time right now than any AI project.
